  • CHU offers health coverage. Employees are eligible for the benefit on the first day of the month following the completion of 90 days of employment. This coverage is partially paid by the company and the difference is paid by the employee through a payroll deduction each week.

  • PTO (Paid Time Off) combines vacation days, sick leave, and personal days into one bucket, allowing employees to take time off while still receiving their regular pay.


    CHU observes the following paid holidays, eight (8) in total: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth**, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving Friday, and Christmas Day.

Current Job Openings

  • Our new project manager will coordinate, develop, manage, and implement all the tasks necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified.

  • The superintendent oversees their crews to keep the project on track—safely, efficiently, and profitably. They ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and up to industry standards for quality and craftsmanship. Daily, they check in with project leads to go over job requirements, safety concerns, and resource needs. They may also interact with customers, fostering strong client relationships throughout the project.

  • The Commercial Roofing Laborer is responsible for performing various physical tasks in the Construction Department in a safe and effective manner. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, the removal of roofing systems with insulation, flashings, and other work associated with roofs.
